The site is in the grounds of a Grade ll listed school building in the Green Belt where the school wished to replace the dilapidated music block. We carried out a pre-application enquiry both with planning and heritage to assess the original proposals. The final scheme is single storey and includes a colonnade link to the main building with the building enclosing a triangular courtyard adjacent to the chapel. The building is U shaped and uses materials that echo rather than mimic to the listed building. Our heritage consultant prepared a report to support the application and justify the loss of the existing structure.

Following this permission, we continue to assist the School with applications for various extensions as part of their phased masterplan.
