Land Rear of High Street, Arlesey

Planning permission has been successfully obtained for the erection of 29 dwellings, access, parking, amenity space and other associated works, including provision of a section of Arlesey Relief Road on land rear of High Street, Arlesey, following the completion of a section 106 agreement after a Committee resolution to grant permission in August 2020.

The permission provides CALA Homes with a phase 2 to their current 55 dwelling scheme on the land to the north.  Both sites sit within the Arlesey Cross Masterplan area which seeks to deliver a mixed use development comprising a minimum of 1000 dwellings and 10ha of employment land, including the provision of a relief road running north along the west of the High Street to the north-east of Arlesey and joining the A507.  The scheme contributes to these aims by providing housing and part of the relief road.
