Kingsbourne Green
Planning permission was obtained for a replacement dwelling in the Green Belt in July 2020. Working with the architect DLA Town Planning first sought to maximise the potential for permitted development via a number of certificate of lawful development applications including the prior notification process.
This established a fall back position to balance against the proposal. The resulting dwelling has a footprint, floorspace and volume that are more than twice that of the original dwelling, so as to represent very significant increases in the light of restrictive Green Belt polices.
