Redbourn Recreation Centre – Mixed-Use Development
Earlier this year, the St Albans Planning Committee determined that they were minded to approve plans for the extension and improvement of Redbourn Recreation Centre, alongside associated enabling residential development.
The proposals include:
🏗️ A first-floor extension and roof terrace
🏀 A new linked sports hall building
⚽ A new 3G football pitch with fencing and floodlighting
🏏 New cricket nets, relocated turf pitches, and an artificial cricket pitch
🚴♂️ Improved cycle and car parking
🌳 Landscaping enhancements
The improvements will be made possible through funding from 15 new homes, 6 off Blackhorse Lane, and 9 off Dunstable Road.
