Sauncey Wood, Harpenden (self-build resi)

Last year, we were delighted to get permission for the redevelopment of a site in the Sauncey Wood area of Harpenden. This was for the demolition of the existing buildings and the construction of a new self-build property.

For the site, we successfully demonstrated that the site qualifies as Previously Developed Land (PDL) and that the proposed development would have no greater impact on the openness of the Green Belt. This achievement follows positive engagement and pre-application advice from the local council.

It was a pleasure to work closely with our client on this project. A special thanks to Simon Feneley for his fantastic work on the design of the new dwelling, which will look quite special in this location.
