From a boundary wall refusal to a new dwelling!
Our client contacted us having first received a refusal on an application relating to a boundary wall. From our further research into the site we identified that, although the site is within the Green Belt, there was scope to subdivide the plot and create a new dwelling through an infill argument, provided we could justify that Stanborough was a Village.
The Council resisted given that Stanborough is not a designated settlement, however we made our case accordingly and permission was successfully obtained.
