Earlier this month, we obtained an approval for an additional storey on a x2 four-storey flat blocks in Luton. With the current number of flats in each block being 6, the approval we obtained under the new Permitted Development Rights allows for an additional storey on both blocks to bring the total number of flats in each block to 8. Initially, the applicants had received a refusal on the site last year, but they then bought the site to us and we have now managed to achieve a consent under the new prior approval regulations for them.
