Sumira, Sandridgebury

DLA has obtained a certificate of lawful use for occupation of a house in Sandridge without compliance with the agricultural occupancy condition. DLA helped to collate the required evidence and assisted with drafting the statutory declarations to show that the occupation by persons not in farming had been continuous for over ten years. The Council granted the certificate on the basis of the statutory declarations and the corroborating circumstantial evidence.

The client commented:

‘I would also like to add a very big thank you to you personally for all the help, guidance, and patience in helping to achieve this outcome. It has taken a long time as the information you needed from me was not easy or straightforward to locate.’
