DLA add to their heritage expertise

We are delighted to announce that Robin Uff has joined DLA as a Conservation and Design Consultant, after spending over 30 years as a Local Authority Conservation Officer in Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire, and 8 years as a member of the St Albans Diocesan Advisory Committee. With this experience, Robin has also written extensively and lectured on conservation and urban design theory, along with the management of historic environments.

Robin fervently believes that historic buildings and areas must adapt sympathetically, and adjust harmoniously, to the needs and requirements of life in the 21^st century and the climate emergency, in order to be relevant and viable for current and future generations. Conservation must be inherently sustainable.
