Robin Uff
BTP MA IHBC
Robin studied at The King’s Manor, University of York and is a founder member of the Institute of Historic Building Conservation.
He has over 30 years’ experience as a local authority Conservation Officer in Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire and was also a member of the St Albans Diocesan Advisory Committee for 8 years.
Robin has written extensively and lectured on:
- conservation & urban design theory; and
- historic environment good practice & management.
He fervently believes that historic buildings and areas must adapt sympathetically, and adjust harmoniously, to the needs and requirements of life in the 21st century and the climate emergency, in order to be relevant and viable for current and future generations. Conservation must be inherently sustainable.
